HR Block: Tax Human

Taxes aren’t fun.

H&R Block believes life would be better if people could feel ownership over their choices as they pursue their own definition of success and riches. Not be hindered by them. With so many tax offerings online and impersonal, this campaign was built to remind people that H&R Block’s dedication to keep knowledge Human expertise available, especially in person, to help customers get the most out of their money. Emphasizing the prop value that Humans are there and ready to help make sense of anyone’s taxes, especially those who get the most out of their life and don’t always fit into the conformity of tax bracket.

We produced a longform anthemic manifesto that follows the story arc of several customers who took the path less chosen. Started their own business, went back to school while their kids were stilling school, made their side hustle their main hustle.

We then produced a consumer facing spot that run in more tradition placements celebrating the Human side of tax help, by showcasing the benefit of putting a Human back into your tax equation.

H&R Block. For life outside of the box.
